JOSEPH W. JONES FUNERAL HOME
Mr. Hugh Ralph Eledge, 83, of Albany, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022, with the funeral beginning at 3:00 p.m., in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home, in Leesburg. Pastor Jason Steege will officiate with interment to follow in the Leesburg Cemetery.
Born February 24, 1939, in Sevierville, TN, Mr. Eledge was the son of the late Luther and Georgia Lindsey Eledge. He retired from Miller Brewing Company, enjoyed coon hunting, and loved the mountains where he was born and raised. He also enjoyed going to the beach. Mr. Eledge attended Heritage Full Gospel Church and more than anything loved God and his family.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Peggy Merritt Eledge; children, Sharon Medrano (Ascencion) of Dahlonega, Scott Eledge of Newnan, Kevin Eledge (Tifani) of Camilla, Tammie Thompson (Jim) of Clinton, TN, Kathy Alley (Shawn) of Putney, and Jade Edwards (Heather) of Leesburg; his sister, Maleita Trentham of Griffin; 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren including a special great-granddaughter, Kinley Edwards.
