Hubert W. Tennyson (91) passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at his home in Booneville. He was a member of Little Brown Missionary Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed farming, gardening and playing and singing bluegrass gospel music. Services are Friday, June 28, 2019 at 2 pm at Little Brown Missionary Baptist Church. Burial with military honors will be in Little Brown Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 pm Thursday at the church. Kesler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Hubert is survived by his sons, Larry, Jerry and Jim Tennyson all of Booneville; his brother, Gene Tennyson of Booneville; his sister, Ann Lacey of Tusculoosa, AL; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Tennyson; his special grandson, Scott Tennyson and his sisters, Kathaline Hutcheson and Ruby Gardner.
