Hubert Rae McLellan, age 86, of Marietta, Georgia, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 13, 2018 joining his parents, William and Kate, sister, Aggie, and brother, Wook. He is survived by his wife Jean, sons Rae and Russ, daughter Jeanne Lee (Eric), grandsons Ryan, Robbie, Jonathan and Benjamin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Hubert loved his wife deeply and built a wonderful life with her during their 66 years of marriage. He had a strong faith and a generous heart. He served in the Air Force, in his church and in The Gideons as Chaplain. He was an engineer, entrepreneur, avid golfer, and Bama fan. Most of all he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, July 21st at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Family will be present to receive family and friends an hour and a half prior to the service. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS: Please make donations to Gideons International.
