Hossein "Hoss" Balou, (AKA "Michael"!), age 67, of Frisco, Texas passed away on November 13, 2022. He was born on October 20, 1955, to Hajar (Moghades) and Abolhassan Balou in Kordkoy, Iran. On November 17, 1989, Hoss married Susan Virginia (Hammer) in Eugene, Oregon. He was a member of Hope Fellowship - East Campus in Frisco. Hoss was an Orthopedic Technologist for PeaceHealth Medical Center, Springfield, OR, as well as a rental business owner, prior to his retirement. Hoss is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan Balou; his children, Shireen Harrison and her husband, Leon, Omeed Balou and his wife, Brittany, Raana Balou and her husband, Soheil Poorheidr; his grandchildren, Lilly Balou and Atreyu Balou; his brothers, Hassan Balou, Mohammad Balou and Ahmed Balou; his sisters, Faranez Tajari, Monavar Zakaryaee, Azita Balou, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Hoss was preceded in death by his parents, Hajar and Abolhassan Balou; his sisters, Raana, Sakineh, and Sara Balou. A Memorial Service will be held at Hope Fellowship Frisco East, 9950 Rolater Road, Frisco, Texas 75035, on Saturday, November 19, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM. Central.
