Honorata Gorska

Honorata Gorska, 87, of New Britain, passed away on August 4, 2025. She was born in Poland and migrated to the United States, settling in New Britain, CT. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and retired from Stanley Tools. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews: Alicja, Dorothy, Lauretta, Marta, Chester, Grzegorz, Stanley, Slawek, Jozef, Tadeusz, Tom, Czeslaw, Stanley, her sister-in-law Irene and family in Poland.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Jadwiga Kuczynko, Janina Czepiel, Walentyna Krysztopik, Marianna Mieldzioc, Jan Gorski and Jozef Gorski.

Honorata's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Avon Health Center for their compassionate care.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain. Funeral service for Honorata will begin on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 8:45 a.m. from the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, New Britain.
