Houston-Hester Conrad "Rad" Clark, Jr., 88, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at Floy Dyer Manor Nursing Home in Houston. He was born March 5, 1934 in Houston, MS to the late Hester Clark and Myrtle Idelle Lowery Clark. He was a retired Security Guard at Union Camp in Houston and a Butcher. He was a member of Pearson Chapel Church of the Nazarene where he was a Sunday School teacher, Board member and Song leader.Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023 at Pearson Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Houston with Bro. Scott Samuel and Bro. Cody Childress officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorial Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of arrangements.He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Ray Clark of Houston; a son, David Clark (Kim) of Houston; five grandchildren, Angie Clark Engle (Russell) of Nettleton, Benjamin C. Clark of Alabama, David Keith Clark (Brandy) of Pass Christian, Jacob Clark (Amber) of Appomattox, Virginia, Joshua Clark of Mantachie; fourteen great grandchildren, Shaw, Jason and Mason Engle, Chris and Andrew Malone, Haley, Zoie, Cadie, Quinton, Maddie, Bayleigh, Gage, Bowynn and Jayden Clark; three great great grandsons, Dakota and Karter Malone and Waylon Engle; a sister, Joann Clark Herrod of Okolona; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; Hester Clark and Myrtle Idelle Lowery Clark; a son, Barry Keith Clark; two brothers, Billy Clark and Thomas Gene Clark; two sisters, Bobbie Nell Clark and Ruth Pearson; a great granddaughter, Kiley Clark.Pallbearers will be Keith Clark, Jake Clark, Josh Clark, Benjamin Clark, Quinton Clark, Christopher Malone, Andrew Malone, Jason Engle and Russell Engle.Honorary pallbearers will be Sherman Collums, Bob Mixon and TeBow Huffman.Visitation will be Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Houston.For online condolences visit www.memorialfuneralhomehouston.com (http://www.memorialfuneralhomehouston.com).
