Henry Waioni Pelekai, Jr., 54, of Nanakuli, passed away on November 07, 2018. His body was found off of Waianae Boat Harbor. He is survived by his parents Henry Pelekai Sr. and Lurline Pelekai. He had two daughters, Maya-Rose Pelekai and Angelina Pelekai. He had three sisters named Lorna Mandac (Albert), Helen Pelekai-Wai (Daniel), and Sheyenne Pelekai and a brother Kaimi Pelekai (Kristy). He had many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was known for his kindness and his love for the ocean. He was an amazing fisherman, surfer, and musician. He will be deeply missed. There will be a private scattering of his ashes offshore at Cornet Beach on Friday November 16, 2018 at 1 PM so he can be reunited with his Grandparents who loved the ocean as did he. Celebration of his life will take place on the same day at his parents home at 5pm in Nanakuli.
