Henry Harrison Milam, of Midlothian, VA, peacefully passed from this life surrounded by his family on April 28. 2024. He was 81 years old. Henry was born on October 8, 1942 to Henry Harrison Milam II and Marema Free Milam of Ninety-Six, SC. He attended Clemson University and graduated in 1965 with a BS in Industrial Management. He was commissioned into the US Army. Henry married his high school sweetheart, Sara Caroline Henderson, on August 8, 1965. Henry proudly served his country as a pilot of the Cessna O-1A "Bird Dog." He was a member of the 220th Reconnaissance Airplane Company during the Vietnam War, 1967-68. After leaving the military, Henry worked as an auditor and purchasing agent for Dupont for 25 years. Upon retiring from Dupont, Henry worked for the Salisbury Corporation for 30 years. Henry is survived by his wife, Sara, his daughter Lynn Milam Murphy (Mike), his son, Henry Harrison Milam IV (Ashley), eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and his siblings Jeff Milam and Judy Outzs. Henry will be remembered for his love for his family and friends, his devotion to the Clemson Tigers and as an avid golfer. He had 6 hole-in-ones during his years of playing. The family deeply appreciates the wonderful support of his many friends during Henry's final months. There will be a private service at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia.
