Mr. Henry C. “Bud” Kroeze, age 90, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 13, 2004, in Muskegon.
He was born in Muskegon on December 31, 1913, to George & Hattie (Hendricks) Kroeze and had resided in the Muskegon area all of his life. On August 27, 1937, he married the former Sophie Bewelda, and she preceded him in death on March 29, 1990.
Mr. Kroeze was the proprietor of Roman Coal Company and later employed at Roadway Trailer Rental. He was currently a member of Unity Reformed Church, a former member of Fifth Reformed Church, and a charter member of Pine Grove Reformed Church where he served as elder and deacon.
Survivors included two children Cheryl (Ford) Bigalow of Norton Shores, James (Darlene) Kroeze of Jenison; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and special friend Thelma Yonker.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday at the Unity Reformed Church, 1521 Porter Rd, with James Bos and Kyle DeYoung officiating.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Unity Reformed Church.
