Henry Konakakino Hulama Jr., age 70, of Waikoloa died May 25 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Hilo, he was a graduate of Kamehameha Schools, a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran, a retired Honolulu Police Department Solo Bike Officer, a retired State of Hawaii Operations Supervisor at Kona International Airport and a member of the Hawaiian Thunda Motorcycle Club. He is survived by spouse, Barbara Hulama; son, David Hulama; daughter, Karen Hulama; mother, Annie Hulama; brothers, Michael Hulama Sr., Gerard Hulama Sr., Jesse Hulama Sr. and Stanford Hulama Sr.; sisters, Rowena Silva, Joanne Hulama and Faye Williams; grandchildren, Kaili & Ikaika Featheran, Hailey, Hanna and Derek Hulama; aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 30 at Salvation Army, Hilo Corps. Visitation at 9am, Services at 10am, Luncheon to follow. Casual attire. Private scattering of ashes at a later date.
