Born March 8, 1924 in Shreveport, LA. Died November 15, 2022.
Beloved mother and wife. A beautiful human being. Thoughtful beyond measure, caring and selfless. Her father called her peanuts. Graduate of Byrd High School. Attended LSU, Past President of the Dallas Women of Rotary. Longtime member of Temple Emanu-El sisterhood. Traveled the world with her husband, Bob Lansburgh and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents Henry S. Weisman Sr. and Justine Heyward Weisman, brother Henry S. Weisman Jr., sister-in-law Helen Weisman and husbands Louis Zeve Jr. and Robert Lansburgh.
Survived by sons Alfred L. Zeve, H. Michael Zeve and David L. Zeve, niece JoAnn Gordon and many cousins and countless friends.
There was not a birthday not remembered nor a thank you not returned.
A longtime resident of the Terrace House that she loved and was loved.
Deepest Thanks to caregivers Jean, Dicie and Nabil. Their care and love will not be forgotten. And thanks to the nurses at Merit Hospice.
A graveside service for Helen will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Temple Emanu-El Cemetery, 3430 Howell St., Dallas, TX 75204. Following the graveside service a memorial service will take place at 1:00 PM at Temple Emanu-El, Stern Chapel, 8500 Hillcrest Rd., Dallas, TX 75225.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Scottish Rite and St. Jude Hospital and the World Wildlife Fund.
