Helen Thomas Smiley, 87 of Fort Mill, South Carolina, passed away February 19, 2025, at 147 Patriot Way, Lexington, South Carolina. She was born on December 2, 1937, in Monroe, North Carolina to James and Hazel Thomas.
Helen is Survived by her brother, Chuck Thomas; her sisters, Faye Hammond and Gwen Hensley; sons, Tim and Mike Pigford; stepdaughter, Debra McBride; stepson Reid Smiley; 10 grandchildren; and 10 Great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Sisk Memorial Baptist Church on March 8th from 10:30am to 11:00am and a memorial service to immediately follow at 11:00am.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery on March 10th at 2:00pm.
