Helen V. Sikorski, 102, Krakow, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 5, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay. The daughter of Julian and Eleanor Bochenek was born October 17, 1919, in Chicago, Illinois.In her younger years, Helen worked as a waitress for Woolworth's in Chicago. She married Louis Sikorski on August 30, 1941. The couple moved to Krakow in 1951, and began farming. Helen was a lifelong member of St. Casimir Parish in Krakow where she belonged to the Altar Rosary Society. Helen enjoyed canning, doing needlepoint, reading and working on both crossword and jigsaw puzzles.Survivors include her two children: Ken (Cathy) Sikorski and Betty (Norman) Wesolowski; nine grandchildren: Michelle (Karl), Jeff, Sherry (Sean), Greg (Jenny), Dennis (Heather), Tim (Jill), Jill (Patrick), Steve (Wendy) and Debra (Bill); granddaughter-in-law, Beth Niec; 24 great-grandchildren: Vivian, Pamela, Gavin, Michael, Noah, Kaytlen, Ashley, Kaleb, Kallie, Kayla, Christopher, Michael, Jayce, Taylor, Brook, Brenden, Brianna, MacKayla, Katie, Justin, Travis, Alesha, Louis and Raymond. She is further survived by a daughter-in-law, Janice Cayemberg; a son-in-law, Conrad Niec; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Sikorski; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband, Louis and parents, Julian and Eleanor, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Sikorski; her daughter, Elaine Niec; a grandson, Kevin Niec; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Anna Sikorski; three brothers: Wally (Josephine) Bochenek, Casimir (Jean) Bochenek, and Theodore Bochenek; a sister, Genevieve Bochenek; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Stanley (Josephine) Sikorski, Bernard (Monica) Sikorski, Walter (Ann) Sikorski, Chester (Florence) Sikorski, Joseph Sikorski, and Helen (John) Shutty.Friends are invited to gather with the family at St. Casimir Church, 146 Park St., Krakow, on Friday, June 10, from 9-11 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. James Esser, O.F.M. presiding. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Fr. James Esser and the entire ER staff at St. Mary's Hospital for the compassionate care give to Helen.
