Helen Jo Morrison

Helen Jo Morrison, 86, of Etowah, TN passed away Monday, October 2, 2023.



Helen attended East Etowah Church of God. She loved to read and shop in her free time. She enjoyed traveling, learning about history and her family genealogy.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "L.M." Morrison; parents, Mitch and Mattie Buckner; brother, Glen Buckner; sister, Sarah Trull, Wanda Sue "Mon" Wilson.



She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Robin Morrison; grandchildren and spouses, Zac and Amy Morrison, Erica Morrison, Garrett and Kaitlyn Morrison; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Lloyd officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at Mars Hill Cemetery, Thursday, October 5th for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
