Helen "Jean" Desmond, age 71, of Canton, Georgia, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at her residence.
Mrs. Desmond was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Jean enjoyed spending time with her family, from laughing and telling stories, to playing games, to one on one deep conversations about whatever was relevant and important. She was an avid reader and loved creating art in many mediums; painting, ceramics, mosaics, and excelled in design work. Art, reading and most of all her family were her passions in life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Aloysius Desmond, Sr.; son, Timothy "T.J." Aloysius Desmond, Jr.; daughter, Carrie Lynn Desmond; grandson, Marvin Reginald Wallace, Jr.; and sister, Jo Ann Farrell. Jean is survived by her daughter, Amy Fresolone (Anthony); sisters, Kim Mallon (Craig) and Carolyn Powers; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
