Helen L. Cole Fish, 91 of Seymour passed away at Seymour Crossing Nursing Home on May 8, 2024. She was born January 11, 1933 in Lawrence County, Indiana to Hubert and Elizabeth Weddell.
Helen retired from Lichter Foam Rubber in 1995 after working there over 30 years. She was an auxiliary member of the Eagles 655. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles gardening and listening to classic country music.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Robert Cole and Carl Fish, her son, Danny Cole, and brother, Harold Weddell.
Surviving to cherish her memories are her sons, Joey (Rita) Cole, Terry (Freda) Cole, and Greg (Hillary) Cole, brother, Jerry Weddell, sister-in-law, Bev Weddell and daughter-in-law, Vivian Cole. She leaves a legacy with 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with Helen's family from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral 12:00 pm, Monday, May 13, 2024. Funeral services will be held at Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour, Indiana. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.
Memorials may be given in Helen's memory to the American Cancer Society or the organization of the donor's choice.
