Helen Rose Chaney, age 89 of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Lenoir City, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2018.
Helen was a wonderful and devoted Christian wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky to Eugene and Udell (Chrisman) Rose. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loyal and faithful husband of 55 years whom she cherished, Thomas S. Chaney; brothers, Whit, Arvil, and Cecil Rose; sister, Viola (Lamb) Rose; sister-in law, Elizabeth Chaney; daughter-in-law Patsy Chaney.
Helen is survived by her son, W. Thomas Chaney of Florence, Kentucky; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Stephen Bicknell of Farragut, Tennessee; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Betty Chaney of Dayton, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Raymond Chaney and wife Edna of Frametown, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m.
