HELEN MARIE LONGVILLE was born in Akron, Ohio to Edward and Dorothy Batman on June 8, 1929. She peacefully entered her eternal life surrounded by her family on February 12, 2020.
Helen leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Patti (Tim Lilley), Sue (Tim Lutz), Lynne (Dean Fazio), Joyce Riggle (John), Laura Sweeney (Tom), Jean Lang (Dan), Donna (fiance Kevin Hales), and Debbie Kendig; her son, Tim (Carol); her daughter-in-law, Sue Monroe Longville; her brother, Ed (Bonnie); 25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her three brothers, Howard, Jim and Ken; her two sisters, Alice and Florine; her husband of nearly 49 years, Regis; and her son, Tom.
Helen attended Akron's Glover Elementary School. Upon graduating from Akron's Garfield High School in 1947, she worked at Ohio Bell Telephone Company until her marriage to Regis Longville on June 30, 1951. They established their home in Cleveland Heights, Ohio where Helen lived for 62 years. She was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a vital part of her St. Margaret Mary Church Community, serving as an officer in the Ladies Guild and Parish Council, as a lector at liturgies, and as a Eucharistic minister. Helen had many friends and she joyfully celebrated life every day. She enjoyed playing cards, going to dinner, seeing movies, and celebrating family occasions. Her final wish for her family and friends was to remember her as always loving you.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Gesu Catholic Church, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Hts., OH 44118. (PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.) Private burial at a later date. The family will receive friends at the SCHULTE & MAHON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD) THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20 FROM 2-4 AND 5-7 P.M.
