Heather Marie McWhorter, 33, passed away on October 31, 2019 at IU Bloomington Hospice House.
She was born on February 17, 1986 in Franklin, Indiana. She was survived by her parents, Luanne (Glen) Lewis and Eddie (Lisa) McWhorter; her 3 beloved children Jay, Bailey, and Addison; her sisters Megan McWhorter and Desirae Bolin; niece Alexia; nephew, Roman; her second family: parents, Darrel and Susan Hoskins; sisters Tricia Brown, Brandy Plunkett, Charlie Zellars and Brooklyn Hoskins; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Heather would've never wanted to be defined only by her addiction and mistakes... She was a beautiful, fun and outgoing person who fell into its grip. It can happen to anyone. She was one feisty red head, always outspoken and carefree. She could entertain a crowd with her witty sense of humor even while struggling with her own demons. She cherished her children, family and friends, she would play with every child she came across and would dance anytime she heard music. She also had a deep love of basketball that began when she was little, in which she shares with her daughter Bailey. Heather loved cooking fettuccine alfredo and other wild concoctions, and eating, especially candy and cereal. She still enjoyed coloring, she would jump on the chance to go on a motorcycle ride across town or across country, and she loved Harley bikes and Fords. The memory of her bright smile, contagious laugh, quick wit and sassy personality will never be forgotten.
Heather, we know you were tired, we know you didn't have any fight left, we hope and pray that the emotional pain that you'd felt within yourself for so long, is over, and that you are at peace. Our broken hearts will forever feel the loss and emptiness of your absence.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 16, 2019 at 1pm at Impact Christian Church, 2800 N. Graham Rd, Franklin, Indiana for Heather. Visitation will precede the service from 12-1pm.
