Harvey Warsen, age 81, of Grandville, suddenly passed away and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. After graduating from Northern Michigan Christian School, Harvey proudly served in the National Guard for eight years before attending Davenport College. After graduation, Harvey did accounting and income tax preparation for 40 years, and at the same time, was a Farm Bureau Insurance agent for 29 years. After retiring in 2012, he enjoyed spending time golfing. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Grace Warsen; parents, Harm and Marie (Kuipers) Warsen; siblings, Calvin and Betty Warsen, Chrissie and Harriett Warsen; parents-in-law, Harm and Alice VanDyk; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Audrey VanDyk. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, Neva Warsen; children, Harvey J. Warsen, Michael and Beth Warsen; daughter-in-law, Renee Warsen; stepchildren, Sandra and Michael Winchester, Sharon and Joe Westhouse; grandchildren, Jodi, Melissa, Stefanie, Scott, Brittany, Courtney, and Ryan; twelve great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Tyce J. Bruursema; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at First Reformed Church of Byron Center, 8425 Byron Center Ave SW, with Pastor Bill Fernhout, Pastor Andy Bossardet, and Pastor Joe Dyer officiating.
