Harry Woodrow Tressler , 94 Sep 21, 1925 - Nov 4, 2019 Harry Woodrow Tressler, age 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 4,2019@ Hagerstown Health Care Center.
Born September 21, 1925 in State Line, PA, he was the son of the late Alvey C, and Hazel Mae Tresler. He was a graduate of Greencastle High School.
Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy as a medical corpsman. After an honorable discharge, he was employed by Moller Pipe Organ until his retirement. He also was co-owner of the Model Hanger Store in State Line.
Harry was a member of the State Line United Church of Christ and a lifetime member of the State Line Ruritan Club. His passion over the years was working with the Boy Scouts of America, coin collecting and detailing history through pictures, paintings and stories.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy L. Crider and sister in law Patricia Tresler, 2 nieces and 5 nephews, as well as a good friend and caregiver John Borelli. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Catherine Shearer and Joann Tressler and his brothers, Robert Tresler and Donald Tresler.
Harry requested that his body be donated to science to the Maryland Board of Anatomy.
