Harry Edgbert Roberts, 80, of Tunnel Hill, GA went to his REAL HOME in Heaven, Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He met his Savior's face. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather & great-grandfather. He faithfully preached the gospel & shared Jesus everywhere he went. He taught his family to love Jesus with all their heart, soul & mind. He and his sweetheart, Shirley Roberts, have been married 59 years. Harry was the Pastor/Missionary of the Truck Stop ministry at Cochran's Truck Stop. Many truckers were saved. He started a church in Carthage, New York and worked alongside many pastors in ministry. He was one of three children. He will be extremely missed because of his faithfulness to the Lord & teaching us that Jesus is the Only Way to an eternal life; we will be with him again.
He was predeceased by his mother, Vivian Roberts Holl; father, Clarence Allen Roberts; sister, Mary Grace Roberts.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Stewart Roberts; brother David Roberts; children, Clarence Roberts, Earl (Tina ) Roberts, Sherry Roberts (Chris) Davidson, Eric (Wanda) Roberts, Denise Roberts, 22 grandchildren & 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 3, 2021 at North Whitfield Missionary Baptist Church, Tunnel Hill, GA from 11 a.m. -2 p.m. Pastor JT Sanders, Earl Roberts & Chris Davidson will conduct a celebration of life in the church at 2 p.m.
