Harry Lester Frey, Jr. , 99 Mar 20, 1921 - Sep 30, 2020 Harry L. Frey, Jr., 99, of Ringgold Pike, Ringgold, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at his home.
Born March 20, 1921 near Smithsburg, MD, he was the son of the late Harry Lester Frey, Sr. and Naomi Catherine (Smith) Frey.
Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Lavinia Louise (McAllister) Frey, January 24, 1994.
He attended Smithsburg Schools.
He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church of Hagerstown.
Harry was a lifetime farmer and an avid woodworker.
He is survived by sons, Cletus Q. Frey and wife Janice and Sterling D. Frey, sister, Margaret Ann Ridenour, brother, Gerald Frey, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Elizabeth Ginn, Naomi Catherine Durham and Lucille Doyle and brothers, James, Robert, Thurman, Donald, Mark and Nevin Frey.
Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD, with Pastor Dionne Hall officiating.
