Harry Bradley Hinton Jr., better known as "HB" to his childhood friends and family, passed away the morning of February 21, 2020, at Richardson Methodist Hospital.
Harry was born on September 28, 1970 in Parkersburg, WV, to Harry Hinton Sr. and Deborah Shroyer. He was raised in Belpre, OH, and graduated from Belpre High School in 1989. After two years of college, he decided to join the Navy in 1992, where he served for two years. Upon leaving the Navy in 1994, he spent his time in Columbus, Ohio, where he met the love of his life Cynthia from Texas. He moved to Texas in 1996 to spend the rest of his life with Cynthia, where they were married in 1997. Once in Texas, Harry built a career in the crane business where industry professionals revered him as one of the best crane operators in DFW. There was NO job Harry couldn't do, and he knew it. His no-nonsense approach in life and business, along with a little bit of arrogance, took Harry to new heights in his career. An entrepreneur at heart, he eventually started his own company, Hinton Crane &Rigging in 2019 with his wife.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids as well as long rides on his motorcycle around the lake with his wife. Harry had a love for Hawaii ever since his time in the Navy and had planned to retire there with his best friend and soulmate, Cynthia. Harry knew no stranger and had a special gift of connecting with people. He was known in the family for his tough love, but he had a big heart and would do anything to protect his friends and family. He was a jokester who always enjoyed telling a good story and making you laugh.
Harry was survived by his wife Cynthia Hinton and his sons Vincent "Brad" Zoph, Samuel Hinton, stepdaughter Amanda (Jeremey) Schlosser, sister Rachele (R.G.) Bailey, brother Nick Morey, father Harry Hinton Sr and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Debbie Morey, his stepfather Nick Morey, stepson Michael Betty and step-granddaughter Josie Schlosser.
Services will be held at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Ln. Farmers Branch, TX 75234 Friday the 28th at 2 PM. There will be a viewing Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 6-8 PM.
