Harold Willison, 75, of New Lexington, Ohio died on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at New Lex Healthcare and Rehab in New Lexington Ohio.
Born on Sept. 10, 1946 to the late Rayotis Willison and Aileen Brown Willison of New Lexington, Ohio, Harold served as a sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era.
Harold was a 1964 graduate of New Lexington High School. He was member of the House of Prayer of Columbus, Ohio. He followed the Cleveland Indians and Nascar. He loved fishing and he served the Lord most of all. He played the guitar and keyboard and wrote and sang songs.
Survived by his mother Aileen Willison, brothers and sisters, Jeff Willison of Lancaster, Ohio, Marlan Willison of New Lexington, Ohio, Sue Pingle of New Lexington, Ohio and Lisa Householder of New Lexington, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; friends, Dan and Brenda Beaty, Larry Hakala and Dirk Blacker, all of Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to his father, preceded in death by his sister Arlene Willison Downs and grandparents, Wendell and Edith Willison, Dwight and Hattie Brown.
Calling hours will be held from noon-2 p.m. with a funeral service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rick Jones officiating on Saturday, May 21 at the Covenant Community Church, 383 Park Ave., New Lexington, Ohio.
Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery with graveside military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington, Ohio.
