Harold “Pean” O. Walters, Jr., age 49, of Peoria, IL, died Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 9:20 p.m. within OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born September 14, 1972 in Peoria, IL to parents Harold O. and Linda Elaine (Wyatt) Walters, Sr.
Harold leaves to cherish his memory his partner, Tracy Conwell of Peoria; son, Derrell Brown of Peoria; daughter, Kourtney Pitchford of Winsfield, MO; grandchildren, Derrell, Malani, and Naomi Brown, all of Peoria; mother, Linda Walters of Peoria; sisters, Tonya and LaToya Walters, and Janice Foster, all of Peoria; and favorite uncle, Curtis Walters of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold, and niece, Jamie Timothy.
Harold was a sweet man who loved riding his motorcycle. He uplifted everyone around him with his beautiful smile and people tended to gravitate toward him due to his warm personality.
Harold worked as the lead maintenance technician at the Children’s Home. He held great love for children, within and outside of his family. To honor Harold’s legacy, please provide any memorial contributions to the Children’s Home Association of Illinois, 2130 Knoxville Ave., Peoria, IL 61603.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at State Burner Clubhouse, 1520 Garden St., Peoria, IL 61605.
