Harold M. Rehbein, M.D., a dermatologist, died May 5, 2021 after a short illness in Jacksonville, FL. He was born in Milwaukee, WI and grew up in Wawkesha, WI. Harold attended Carroll College for undergraduate and University of Wisconsin Medical School. He did an internship at Gorgas Hospital in the Panama Canal zone before serving in the U.S. Navy. In addition, he did a dermatology residency at Wayne State in Detroit, MI before moving to Jacksonville, FL and opening his office near Memorial Hospital. During his 32 years in practice he was a member of Jacksonville Dermatology Associations, the Masters Dermatology Association, the Florida Medical Association and the American Academy of Dermatology. He retired in 2007 to play golf, travel and relax.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Katherine; his son, Steven (Rachael); two sisters, Janice Nyland (Joe) and Dorothy Jackson; and niece, Margaret Nyland (Mike Hartman).
His memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin in Jacksonville, FL.
