Harold Little, 83, of Bloomingburg, passed away on May 26, 2022 at Valley View Nursing Home. He was born August 12, 1938 in Floyd County, KY to the late Millard and Vertie Burke Little. Harold leaves behind his wife, Melinda Jean Little.
Harold retired from his job for Hi-Way Paving in 2000, where he had worked constructing highways in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Following his retirement, he enjoyed working out in his yard and garden, and the occasional visit to the casino.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his brothers Johnny and Junior Tackett, sisters Jean Scales and Faye Bennett, infant son Harold Dean, and son-in-law Kenneth Lansing.
In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by his sons Gerald Little and Harold (Rachael) Little; daughters Patricia Wise, Lauri Johnson and Stephanie Lansing; brothers Kenneth (Shirley) Johnson, Dan (Mary) Tackett, Charles Tackett and Dale Tackett; grandchildren Robbie, Melinda, Tori (Travis), Sara, Jacob, Karen, Bryan, Ivy and Ian; and great grandchildren Aiden, Dresdin, and Skiah.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Bloomingburg Cemetery with Rev. Mike Hodge officiating.
