Harold "Mickey" "H" Crennan, 87, of Pittsfield, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Born in Pittsfield, MA on December 4, 1934, the son of the late James and Amy Hopkins Crennan, he graduated from Pittsfield High School with the class of 1953.
Mickey was employed by General Electric, where he worked as a stock chaser. It was there he dedicated 27 years until his retirement in 1991.
While H was especially fond of golf and bowling, he enjoyed most sports. When he wasn't playing, he loved cheering on his New England teams?the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics. Mickey was an avid card player and would never turn down the opportunity for a few hands of poker.
Mickey was predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, the former Beatrice "Bea" Wood, whom he married on January 21, 1961. Bea passed away on May 29, 2015. He is survived by his three children, Cheryl Gibbs (Dan), Matthew Crennan (Stephanie) and Timothy Crennan (Lynn). He leaves behind his grandchildren, Shanna Thouin (Matt), Shea Gibbs, Cheyenne Babeu (Matt), Garrett Crennan (Jade), Zachary Crennan and Colby Crennan, as well as his great grandchildren, Jaxson and Kendall, Julian and Remy Thouin and Avery Crennan. Mickey is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, James G Crennan and Amy (Hopkins) Crennan, as well as his brothers James, Gerald, Ronald and Arnold.

Funeral services for Harold "Mickey" "H" Crennan will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 1:30 pm at St. Joseph Church, celebrated by the Msgr. Michael A. Shershanvoich, Pastor. Calling hours will be Monday, April 18, 2022, from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North Street, Pittsfield MA, 01201.
