Pawleys Island
.Harold J Cain Jr (Ringo) of Pawleys Island, passed away on January 29, 2021 in Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital with his wife, Catherine, at his bedside. He was 75.
Harold was born on April 5, 1945, he was the son of the late Bessie Davis and Harold Cain Sr. He was retired Ironworker from Local 28 Structural Steel out of Richmond VA. The taller the building the better with no fear of heights and like most of his Brothers he took pride in what they built. Later in retirement he relocated to Pawleys Island, SC to enjoy a slower pace in the low country.
Harold although most friends knew him as Ringo was passionate about music and cars. You could say he always had a soft spot for a corvette. In his early years he was a drummer in a band that played various venues including most of the regional universities. He loved reminiscing about some of the great musicians he met and played with during those years.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Cain; sisters Diane Powers (Earl) of Amelia, VA and Norma Crowder (Carrol) Chesterfield, VA; nephews Jeremy Barrett, Michael Powers (Laurie), Shane Powers (Amy) and a loving extended family.
I will lie down and sleep peacefully, for you Lord make me safe and secure. Psalm 4:8
A Celebration of life will be held in the future.
