Hal Moore Huggins, Jr.

Hal Moore Huggins, Jr., 89, of Southport, NC passed away on October 31, 2024. He served in the US army reaching the rank of Sergeant E5. Hal was a member of First Baptist Church in Maiden, NC. Previously, they were members of First Baptist Church in Graham, NC where he was a deacon and Sunday School teacher. Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Jo Tillery Huggins; son, John Alan Huggins, his parents and a sister.

Survived by son, Joe Huggins and wife Debbie of Southport, NC; two daughters, Joan Shannon and husband, John of Saxapahaw, NC and Jane Endicott and husband, Eric of Sanford, FL; four grandchildren, Thomas Huggins, Jack Huggins, Samuel Endicott, and Elizabeth Endicott.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11 am in Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev. Roger Worley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, 1414 Physicians Dr., Wilmington, NC 28401 or lifecare.org.
