Gwendolyn Lanette Gentry, age 59, died quietly in her sleep on June 22, 2021. Gwen had a Masters Degree in Nursing Education and spent many years in the profession she loved. She is survived by her wife of 21 years, Joan Bennett, granddaughters Cambria Anderson, Emmaline & Genevieve Seifert, stepdaughter Anne and husband Sean Seifert. Her sister Marilyn and husband Paul Nelson, sister Jimmie and husband Vann Greeson mourn along with nephew, Eric and wife Jannita Bankhead, nephew Jeremy Bankhead, her great nephew and nieces Josh, Melody and Caroline.
Gwen is preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Lynn Malone and her parents, Gloria Teel Franklin and Jimmie Russell Gentry.
Memorial Services will be held Sunday, June 27, 5pm, at Tree of Life Lutheran Church, 3201 N Loop 336 W, Conroe, TX 77304.
