Gregory Brennan Weir, 74, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Born on September 10, 1947 in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late George Albert and Doris Weir (Brennan).Gregory grew up in Warwick, RI and graduated from Hendricken High School. After high school, he attended and graduated from Providence College. A natural born salesman, he spent many years with the Lipper Corporation, Gorham Silver, SealPro and Pro Coat. During the last several years of his career, he worked as the water commissioner for the town of Hooksett.A lifelong golf lover, he would host a golf tournament every year for his favorite charity, Make a Wish Foundation, and would donate all the proceeds to them. He enjoyed hiking, skiing, and spending time with family and his friends Kathy, Flip, Fred, Dale, Heath, Ralph and many others.He is survived by his loving wife Beverly Weir; daughter Michelle Weir; sons Glyn Weir, Keith Weir, Ryan Oliver; sisters Gail Weir, Maryellen Weir; grandchildren Lindsey Weir, Brandon Weir, Collin Weir, Abigale Weir, Luke Weir, and Leah Weir. He is predeceased by his brother Terrance Weir and dog Ollie.A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 12 from 1pm to 4pm at McHugh Funeral Home located at 283 Hanover St, Manchester.In lieu of flowers, donations in Gregory's name may be offered to Make a Wish Foundation.Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.McHughFuneralHome.com (http://www.McHughFuneralHome.com) for the Weir family.
