Knowing Greg would be described as a wild experience. Someone who loved life and lived to the fullest until the end. He was a true character; some may say the funniest, craziest person they ever met.
He dabbled in the oil industry but was best known professionally as a manufacturer of shoes; self-declared as the Shah of Shoes. He led his companies in Wisconsin, the Dominican Republic and China. One of his proud achievements in the Dominican Republic was philanthropic work organizing medical treatment for children.
As a teen he attended St. John's Military Academy in Delafield, WI. He was promoted to Battalion Staff. the Commandant told his father, "He's a good leader, we just don't know where he's leading them to."
He attended college at St. Norberts in De Pere, WI. This is where he met his wife Pamela of twenty-five years, with whom he started a loving family in Green Bay. From there his career took him throughout the country and foreign shores. He spend his retirement years in Michigan and Florida.
He was a true pro in engaging not only in his children's lives but the entire neighborhood, ensuring no one was ever left out of the fun. He never lost touch with his inner child, keeping the same practices with his grandchildren. One of his greatest qualities was his ability to bring people together. His vibrant, positive energy was contagious and made him the life of the party.
