Mr. Grady Frank Ridlehoover, 81 entered into rest on Friday, August 17, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Ridlehoover, son of the late James Frank and Lois Johnson Ridlehoover, was born in Hephzibah GA and grew up in Richmond County. After almost 40 years of service with the Ft. Gordon central heating and cooling plant, he was able to enjoy his favorite pastimes of farming, fishing, hunting, water skiing, and entertaining family and friends at his lake property in Lincoln County. He was a member and Deacon of Morningside Baptist Church, member of Lincolnton F&AM #354, member of Webb F&AM #166 and five time Past and current Worthy Patron of Homer Legg #535 Order of Eastern Star.
He is survived by his wife Betty DeWitt Ridlehoover; children, Grady Frank Ridlehoover II and wife, Teresa, Lois Eva Phillips and husband, Eric, James Earl Ridlehoover and wife, Sheila; and Felicia Elizabeth Warren and husband Richard; grandchildren, Stewart Ridlehoover, Cory Ridlehoover, Cynthia Phillips, Ashley Lauen, Brooke Still, Samantha Ridlehoover, and Alexis Ridlehoover; 3 great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Warren and Whalen.
A life celebration will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 3 pm at Morningside Baptist Church. Masonic Rites will follow the service. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 1pm until 2:45 pm in the church sanctuary.
