Mrs. Grace Elisabeth "Betsy" Lewis Frazier, age 76, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on May 29, 1945 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She was the loving daughter of the late William Edward and Alma Sue Playez Lewis. She was raised in Johnstown and graduated high school there in 1963. On April 18, 1969 she was united in marriage to Carl Edward Frazier in Winchester, West Virginia. This union of 42 years was blessed with a daughter, Carla Sue and a son, Edward Lewis. The family moved to Madison in 1978 and she was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother and grammie. She enjoyed baking, avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, crocheting, and caring her grandchildren. She dearly loved her dogs, Mimi, Beau, Allie, Bub, Louie, Jaques, and Stella. Betsy died on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 6:20 p.m. at her home in Madison, Indiana.
Betsy will be missed by her loving daughter, Carla Sue Frazier Dahlem and her husband, Matthew of Madison, Indiana; her loving son, Edward Lewis Frazier and his wife, Stacy of Scottsburg, Indiana; her grandchildren, Aubrey Elisabeth Dahlem, Evan William Dahlem, Chase Wynn and Nick Wynn; her great grandchildren, Alexa, Delayna, Layla, and Raegan; her sister, Norma Hayes of Erie, Pennsylvania; her aunt, Norma Balko of Johnstown, Pennsylvania; her sister-in-law, Patty Hooker and her husband Jim of Chesnee, South Carolina; her niece and her nephew, Susan Brown and William Hayes; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, William Edward Lewis, her mother, Alma Sue Playez Lewis, died September 1, 2010, her husband of 42 years, Carl Edward Frazier, died May 18, 2019, her brother in law, Charles E. Hayes, her great grandchild, Phoenix Wynn, her nephew and her niece, Charles Hayes and Palma Hayes.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., by Pastor J.D. Traylor at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
