Grace Frances Mary Cresswell, 25, Tulsa, OK passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. Her family invites relatives and friends to a visitation at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS, 66112, on Friday, February 4, 2022, from 4-6 p.m. The Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. at the Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church. Masks are required. A memorial gathering will be planned in Tulsa, OK at a future date.
Grace was born in Overland Park, KS to Frances Michelle Fowler (now Michelle Figley) on October 28, 1996. Michelle chose Dave and Rosie Halpin Cresswell to be parents for Grace. Dave and Rosie joyfully completed the adoption process for Grace shortly thereafter. Dave and Rosie have included Michelle and her husband, Trent Figley, and their son, Jake Figley (Kylie) to consistently be a part of Grace's life through the years. Grace was a graduate of St. James Academy, Lenexa, and Pittsburg State University. She loved listening to country music and being with her best friend, Anthony Garcia, whom she met in 2019. Grace gave birth to Adaline May Eileen Garcia on December 28, 2021. Anthony and Ada May were the center of her life the last 4 weeks. Grace's goal for herself was share the love that she had in her heart for children and she always wanted to be a Mom.
Grace was preceded in death by her Grammie, Betty Porter Cresswell Rasmussen and her Grandaddy and Granny, Vincent and Harriett Ridgway Halpin. She is survived by her companion, Anthony Garcia; her daughter Ada May; her parents, Deacon Dave and Rosie Cresswell; her sister, Nora Fulks (Daniel and their Genevieve); her brothers, Sean Cresswell (Elise Radford Cresswell), Anthony Cresswell, and Philip Cresswell; her grandparents, Arnold Rasmussen and Jane and Bob Pope; and many aunts and uncles and dozens of cousins.
