Gordon McGuire, 70, of Odessa, TX parted the earth Tuesday, May 25, 2021 and joined his maker in Heaven. Gordon McGuire was born in Santa Fe, NM on October 23, 1950 to Betty McGuire. He graduated from Lamesa High School in 1968 and then attended Odessa College. Gordon developed an amazing artistic ability at a young age, craftsman and artisan. He was an avid classic car enthusiast, gemstone lover/collector, and enjoyed collecting things of Cowboy/Indian heritage. He was a very generous man (to no end). He was a very loving father and always had an open door, open arms, and received everyone with a loving heart. Gordon made many friends through the years while working at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home, OPI, Merchants Trucking, and Hy-bon Engineering. He loved Fishing, animals, and enjoyed watching soccer and football. He was passionate when watching Ancient Aliens and Mecum Auto Auction! Gordon was a jokester at heart giving everyone a "hard time" and cracking jokes (crazy funny) at the perfect moment. He was a man with a heart that went on forever. Gordon was generous of his time, love and friendship to all that would talk to him, he didn't know a stranger. The world has lost a priceless shining soul. Truly a rare, caring being that will be greatly missed! You will always be on our minds and in our hearts daddy!
