Mr. Gordie Lee Johnson age 77 of Hampton, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Sacred Journey Hospice.
Mr. Johnson was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 20, 1942. He is preceded in death by parents, Ernest Johnson and Abby Stoudemyer Johnson. Mr. Johnson was retired from Overnight Express/UPS Trucking Company with 25 years of service. He loved his family, woodworking, and fishing.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Janice Seymour Johnson; daughters and their husbands, Tonya and Scott Lindsey, Deborah and Jimmy Beech; grandchildren, Amanda Pittman, Kyle Beech, Karlee Beech; brother, James Johnson; sisters, Lena Carlyle, Brenda Abraham; nephew, Butch Carlyle.
A visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2020 from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro.
