Goethe "Jake" Wilkins Marsh III, 77, of Mooresville passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 29, 2024. He was born on December 20, 1946, in Wilson, NC to the late Geothe Wilkins Marsh II and Margaret Daniel Marsh.
Jake enjoyed shooting, scuba diving and was very passionate about flying and boating. He was extremely detailed oriented, giving, generous, and witty. He never met a stranger. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Jack Marsh.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Britt Dillon Marsh; sons, Nathan Marsh (Laura), Butch Marsh (Nancy); stepdaughter, McKenzie Wilson; sister, Louise Pariser; grandson, Benjamin "Benny" Marsh and a multitude of friends and family.
No services will be held at this time.

Paralyzed Veterans of America www.pva.org.
