Waynesboro, GA - Gloria Jean Miller, 79, beloved wife of 60
years to Jimmy Roy Miller, entered into rest Monday, July 11, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022, at
2:00 o'clock from First Baptist Church of Waynesboro, with Dr. G.
Al Wright officiating. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment to follow at Burke Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Miller, daughter of the late Sybil Parnell Cadle and Harold
Willard Cadle, was born in Augusta, GA.
Mrs. Miller was retired from The State of Georgia with 34 years of service, and she was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro.
It is with great sadness that the family announces Gloria's death, but they are left with the wonderful memories of how she lived a life that changed so many hearts. She will forever be remembered as the glue that held, and will continue to hold, the family that she cherished so deeply together.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters,
Sheila Thomas (David "Rooster"), Phyllis Cochran (Eddie
Alexander); her grandchildren, Macy Cadle Cochran (Turner Johnson) and Brooke Ansley Thomas.
Pallbearers will be Chip Cochran, Russell Flakes, Russell
Flakes Jr., David "Rooster" Thomas, Eddie Alexander, and Greg
Coursey.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her Sunday School class, Pairs
and Spares.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, July 13 from 6:00 - 8:00 o'clock at the funeral home.
