Warner Robins, GA - Glennis Argo Cook, age 83, passed away on May 14, 2020, at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, GA. A graveside celebration will be held at Kennesaw Memorial Park at later date, due to restrictions of the coronavirus.
Glennis was born in Atlanta, GA to Charles and Evelyn Argo of Smyrna, and graduated from Campbell High School in 1955. In her early career, she worked at The Georgia State Capitol, Riches, and Sears "In the old Sears building". Her hobbies were square dancing, baking, and gardening. She baked all of the birthday cakes for her children which quickly turned into a business of catering and cake decorating. During her career, she worked at several bakeries and finally retired from Publix, at the age of 66. Glennis was a member of Legacy Baptist Church in Dallas, GA where she enjoyed the fellowship of her Christian friends.
Along with her parents who settled in Paulding County, Glennis was preceded in death by her only brother, Charles Argo, of Ellijay.
Glennis is survived by her children, Joe Susko (Simone) of Marietta, Chuck Susko (Connie) of Warner Robins, Karen Susko of Villa Rica, Kevin Cook (Lynn) of Rockmart, and Robin Cook (Selena) of Hiram; grandchildren, Meghan Compton (Jordon), Reyna Trevino, Wyatt Cook, Mason Cook, Hayden Cook, Cole Cook, and Reece Cook. She had two beautiful great-grandchildren, McKinley Cook and Knox Cook.
