Glenna Mary Nelson McCulloch, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, returned to Heaven on January 12, 2025 for a grand reunion with her husband and parents.
She was born on November 1, 1927 in Archer, Idaho to George Francis Nelson and Susan Elizabeth Weekes. She attended schools in Madison, Ricks College and Brigham Young University in Provo. She was a teacher for 38 years at Madison School District.
On September 4, 1948 she married Wallace F. McCulloch. They welcomed two children to this union. Blair in 1953 and Marlene in 1955.
Glenna had many hobbies. She was a great cook and loved to sew. She was an avid reader and always had a book she was reading. She enjoyed snowmobiling in the winters at Island Park and she loved boating and fishing with her husband on the lakes in the summer. She loved to play and later in life watched all her favorite sports like baseball, basketball and football.
Glenna was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions throughout her life.
Glenna is survived by a son Blair (Tanna) McCulloch of Rexburg, a daughter Marlene (Gary) Owens of Rexburg and one brother Reid (Diane) Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Glenna was preceded in death by her husband Wallace McCulloch; parents George and Susan Elizabeth Nelson; brothers Chester Nelson, Lynn Nelson, Dennis Nelson, and John Nelson; and sister Zula Kidd.
