Glenn Lester Yeakle , 69 Dec 20, 1950 - Jan 17, 2020 Glenn Lester Yeakle, 69, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.
Born December 20, 1950, in Hagerstown, MD, he is the son of Christine Fern (Mills) Yeakle of Hagerstown and the late Glenn Frederick Yeakle.
Glenn was a 1968 graduate of Clear Spring High School and previously attended Blairs Valley First Church of God in Clear Spring.
He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting.
Glenn is survived by three children, Scott, Renee, and Jessica; two brothers, Joseph D. Yeakle (Tammy) of Hagerstown, MD and John C. Yeakle (Sherri) of FL; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at 11 am at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring, MD with Pastor Anthony Pomfrey officiating. Interment will follow at Blairs Valley Cemetery, Clear Spring, MD.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 pm. For the convenience of friends, you may visit the funeral home after noon.
