Gladys Jane Kerr, 93, of Lubbock, Texas passed away July 6, 2022.
Gladys was born March 3, 1929, in Lubbock, TX to Homer Brooks and Blanche Stephens Brooks. She was a proud graduate of Lubbock High and Texas Tech. She married Frank Kerr in 1950. She taught in Lubbock Public Schools. She and her husband owned Brooks Super Market. She was a member of Broadway Church of Christ.
Loved ones include son Dr. Ron Kerr (Holly) of Dallas; daughters Deborah Kerr-Henely and Karen Hill (Jimmy) of Lubbock; grandchildren Elizabeth Walker (Chad) of Lubbock; Elaine Futrell (Nathan) of Hilton Head, SC; Laura Burch of Bellingham, WA; Hannah Kerr (Taylor) of San Antonio, TX; Alex Hill (Macey) of Dallas, TX; Dr. Alice Kerr (Mark) of Chicago, IL, and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Frank Kerr (Spouse).
