Gladys Bryan Litton Heaton, 97, of Byhalia MS, passed August 22, 2021 from a brief illness. She was born in Shaw MS on August 24, 1923 the daughter of George Wallis Litton and Mary Ida Brown Litton. She had a sister Ruby and a brother Wallis. Gladys was married to Hayes George Heaton who preceded her passing.
Gladys had three children, eight grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She attended Millsaps College Majoring in music and was an accomplished pianist and composer. She was a very active in her church and loved her family and will be dearly missed.
A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
