Gladys (Bogdan) Salinsky, 79, of Meriden, beloved wife 40 years to Stanley Salinsky, died Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Wadsworth Glen Heath Care with her family at her side. She was born in Middletown, daughter of the late, Walter Frank Bogdan and Rozalia (Kogut) Bogdan. Gladys loved spending time with her family and traveling. She was most proud of her daughters' pursuing careers in the medical field. Gladys had the gift of conversation with everyone she crossed paths with. Besides her husband, Stanley, Gladys is survived by two daughters, Pamela Canna of CT and her fianc? Emilio Lucertini, Sandra Papotto and her husband Steven of Meriden, sons, Gregory Salinsky and his wife Marybeth of Shelton, Timothy Salinsky and his wife Joann of Ansonia, a sister, Maryann Myjak of Middletown, five grandchildren, Nicholas Papotto of Cheshire, Alyssa Papotto of San Diego, CA, Zachary Papotto of Nashville, TN, Courtney Salinsky and Matthew Salinsky both of Shelton, nephew, Robert Myjak of Florida, and her beloved dog Abbey. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Edward Myjak and nephew, Sgt, David Myjak. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday, October 3rd at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Pius X Church, 310 Westfield Street, Middletown. Burial Will be held at the State Veterans' Cemetery 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
