Edinburg - Gilberto Lopez Jr., 51, entered eternal rest on Friday, June 3, 2022, at his residence in Edinburg.He is preceded in death a brother, Raul Lopez.Gilberto is survived by his daughter, Briana Lopez; two grandchildren, Khloe Ranae Lopez, Kaden Ismael Talamantes; his parents, Gilberto and Jovita Lopez, all of Edinburg; a sister, Diana Lopez of San Antonio; a brother, Michael Lopez of Edinburg; and two nephews, Raul Lopez Jr. of Georgia and Darius J. Solis of San Antonio.Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, June 6, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
