Gilbert Eugene Field, 80, passed away in Venice, FL on January 6, 2021. He was born in Highland Park, MI on April 14, 1941, to H. Eugene and Gertrude (nee Carey) Field.
He was a lifelong member of the Free Mason and the Shriners.
Gilbert will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents H. Eugene and Gertrude Field, sister Evelyn Forest, and brother Donald Field.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Donna M. Field, daughter Dawn (Dean) Fagan, son Gilbert A. Field, daughter Dawn Field, daughter Shawn Brown, daughter Jennifer (Jon) Brown, son Andrew (Anneka) Field, 17 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
