Germain was born December 27, 1959 in Shakopee, MN, the son of Germain and Annie (Rademacher) Buesgens. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Victoria Catholic Church. Germain graduated from Waconia High School, class of 1978. He was a skilled carpenter by trade and a self-taught engineer, who could fix and "create" most anything. Germain spent many hours putzing in the garage. On September 6, 1985 he was united in marriage to Brenda J. Anderson at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waconia. They welcomed their son, Jared, in 1991.
Germain loved his family and was always willing to help out in any way. He loved the outdoors and was always happy in a boat fishing or in the woods sitting in a deer stand. Some of Germain's favorite times were fishing at the Buesgens family cabin on Horseshoe Lake, at the in-laws lake home on Lake Andrew or on Lake Waconia. The times at the deer shack with Jared, his brothers and nephews were always times he looked forward to. Germain, Brenda and Jared enjoyed many trips together to multiple National Parks and made so many memories along the way.
Germain was blessed to become a grandpa to Rennick. Although their time together was short, Rennick stole his heart from the day he was born.
Germain was preceded in death by his parents Germain and Annie Buesgens; brothers Dennis Buesgens, Gerald Buesgens; father-in-law Melvin Anderson.
Germain is survived by his loving family: wife Brenda; son Jared (Jeana) Buesgens; grandson Rennick Buesgens; siblings Roger (Bonnie) Buesgens, Dianne (Bill) Kopp, Nancy (Bill) Lachermeier, Mike (Crystal) Buesgens, Rosanne (Brian) Scott, Richard Buesgens; sisters-in-law Debra Buesgens, Laurie Buesgens; mother-in-law Jeanne Anderson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law William (Jeanette) Anderson, Brett (Jeanne) Anderson, Bruce Anderson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
